Goalkeeper goal saves Union! Allagui lets celebrate St. Pauli

Thanks to a goal from goalkeeper Rafal Gikiewicz, 1st FC Union Berlin prevented the first defeat of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the fourth minute of injury time, the goalkeeper scored head-to-head 1-1 (0-0) against 1 FC Heidenheim. Thus, Union remains unbeaten as the only team in the league and as the table runner-up first pursuer of the leader 1. FC Cologne. Heidenheim is still in the midfield.

„It’s quite extraordinary that he makes it so ice-cold. Hats off,“ said Union captain Christopher Trimmel at Sky, jokingly adding: „Now he already has an assistant and a goal on his account, I hope that will continue.

Heidenheim’s Robert Glatzel took the lead for the visitors in the 56th minute after Niklas Dorsch’s cross. Berlin’s Marcel Hartel had previously lost the decisive ball against guest captain Marc Schnatterer on the left defensive side.

In front of 20,108 spectators, Heidenheim never allowed the Köpenickers to develop offensively and acted from a safe defensive. But thanks to Giekiewicz, Union were able to set their best mark of eleven games without defeat in the 2nd league.

FC St. Pauli bites down in the upper third of the 2nd Bundesliga table. The Kiezkicker defeated SV Sandhausen in their home Millerntor stadium thanks to last minute goals from Sami Allagui (90.+1) and Christopher Buchtmann (90.+4) with 3:1 (1:0) and remained undefeated for the fourth time in a row.

But the longer the game lasted, the sloppier the hosts became. Sandhausen, who had only been able to celebrate a threesome in the season so far, took control and had chances.

St. Pauli was really lucky when the visitors failed three times within 120 seconds. First, goalkeeper Robin Himmelmann parried Philipp Förster and Fabian Schleusener from a short distance, then a direct inspection of Schleusener landed only centimeters next to the left post (57th).

The sporting decline of FC Ingolstadt continues unabated under coach Alexander Nouri. The Oberbayern lost on Sunday in the 2nd Bundesliga against SC Paderborn 1:2 (0:1). The man of the game was Philipp Klement, who skillfully converted two free kicks with his left foot (33./61. minute). Konstantin Kerschbaumer could only shorten (63.).

In the second half the Ingolstadt pros at least reared up in front of 7594 spectators. Nevertheless, they could not avert the fifth defeat in a row and the third under Nouri. The Schanzers have to spend their international break on a relegation spot.

Paderborn dominated the first half of the game and should have led higher. FCI goalkeeper Marco Knaller prevented worse against Ben Zolinski (17.) and Babcar Gueye (28./36.). The half-time result was flattering for Ingolstadt. Nouris Team then showed a reaction.

The substitute Stefan Kutschke and Thomas Pledl hit the bar one after the other (56th). Klement’s second goal was also put away by the hosts. Beyond Kerschbaumers connecting goal, however, Nouris team were missing in the offensive luck and penetrating power. Ramos is „pissed“ – and all Real has the „Ronaldo allergy“

Real Madrid is more of a grey mouse than a white ballet, and at almost the same time a certain Cristiano Ronaldo is proving his unbroken hunger for goal. The star striker’s farewell in the summer hit Real Madrid harder than the royals will admit. Even after the 0-1 (0-0) defeat of Deportivo Alaves, the fourth consecutive match without victory and goal and the worst series in 33 years, Real were allergic to the word „Ronaldo“.

„With him we also had goal crises,“ captain Sergio Ramos hissed at his former teammate, who scored against Udinese Calcio in Juventus Turin’s 2-0 win over them despite the rape charges. The fact is, however, that without his goal machine of recent years, the Champions League winner has been on the offensive for weeks without any power of penetration. World footballer Luka Modric and national player Toni Kroos also pose too little danger.

Real Madrid nitrogen sports

And so the coach Julen Lopetegui, who has just been engaged by the Spanish national team with a lot of excitement shortly before the World Cup in Russia, is already under heavy fire. A change of coach would be „crazy,“ Ramos said, „but there are other people who make these decisions“.

In the media, which are usually very opinionated, the demands for the dismissal of Zinedine Zidane’s successor are still limited. But the criticism of the playful poverty is unmistakable. „Real ruina“ (real ruin), wrote the newspaper „Sport“ on its first page, the paper „AS“ titled: „From bad to worse“. On the „Marca“ front page was a stopwatch with the goalless time photographed: 6 hours and 49 minutes. Unbelievable in view of the quality of the squad.

„We got off to a good start, with many chances. But we didn’t make any money out of it,“ Lopetegui struggled after the bankruptcy in the Basque province of Alava with a goal against him in the fifth minute of injury time: „The defeat is an extreme penalty.“ Lopetegui also complained of injury worries (Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema had to be replaced in a battered manner) and bad luck in the decisive game scenes: „All the negative moments have come together“. And so a car bourgeois mentality spreads in Madrid. „Whoever declares Real Madrid dead is making a mistake,“ Ramos warned: „We’ll come back, fight to the death. That’s in our DNA. We are the ones who are most pissed off after this bad show. I hope we can turn it around as soon as possible.“
